An original White Star Line 1st class napkin, dated circa. 1910.
Beautifully intricate design, with the company name in the centre, surrounded by an intertwined leaf and scroll pattern, and five pointed stars.
The napkins were mass produced at the beginning of the 19th century. To put it into perspective, the Titanic alone required 45,000 linen napkins.
This particular napkin spent the last thirty years hidden away in a drawer, and was only recently discovered during a lockdown clear out.
